Do you find it hard to find good operatives, find labourers with a valid CSCS card ? or are you missing out on tenders due to Blackpool’s social responsibility clauses? Then have a chat to us.
Blackpool and The Fylde College is offering local contractors two weeks’ of free labour by dedicated and highly capable mature students as part of ‘Blackpool Build Up’. The students will have completed 10 weeks of intensive training in general operations. They will even bring their own hardhat, boots and tools! Plus if you like them, you can keep them on for as long as you have work, but you are under obligation to do so. All students are over 21 years old, have CSCS cards and are skilled in the following areas (concreting, flagging, blockpaving, drainage).
