Blackpool and The Fylde College is offering local contractors two weeks’ of free labour by dedicated and highly capable mature students, as part of the ‘Blackpool Build Up’ project. The students will have completed three months of intensive training in a variety of construction skills. They’ll even bring their own hardhat, boots and tools! Plus if you like them, you can keep them on for as long as you have the work, but you are under no obligation to do so. All students are over 24 years old, have CSCS cards and are skilled in some of the following areas; general operative (concreting, flagging, block paving, drainage) wall & floor tiling, patch plaster, industrial & commercial cleaning. Plant Operatives have correct certificates and a CPCS card.
