Blackpool Build Up is a 3-year £1.4 million project run by Blackpool Borough Council and Blackpool and The Fylde College, aimed at training adults in construction skills.

All learners on the Blackpool Build Up programmes are aged 24 or over, hold a CSCS card and an Emergency First Aid
Certificate together with an Open College North West Qualification appropriate to the craft area studied.

All learners seeking work placement and employment will have a moving on plan which will clearly identify attendance,
punctuality, attitude to work and ability as well as a reference from their tutor. Employers will be shown these detailed plans in order to assist them in selecting the most suitable candidate for their organisation.
